Poetry

Haiku, a Japanese style of poetry, is written in three lines, using a total of 17 syllables in a 5-7-7 form. Traditionally, haiku poetry focuses on nature, particularly the season. Senryu poetry, similar in style and form to haiku, deals with human nature.
