Fun haiku ~ well penned and love your photo ~ ! ^_^
Oh, I can’t wait to be wearing flip flops again. Looking at this, I can almost feel the heat of the sand on the bottom of my feet.
Indeed, “harbingers of Spring.” Wonderful and I am in great anticipation of its arrival!!! Thank you!!!
I am CONSTANTLY amazed by how many flip flops (and other shoes) I find abandoned everywhere. And yes, Florida is no different. How do so many people lose so many individual shoes? That is my constant question.
I find lone shoes everywhere. What gets me when I see them off the shoulder of the road, or a single sneaker hanging from a power line. There should be more people walking around with one bare foot.
I like the deliberate manipulation of the word harbinger’s connotation.
that makes me want to pack a suitcase and fly somewhere sunny.
what a great picture when you are missing SUMMER.
The closer it gets to Spring Break season, the more and more flip flops you’ll find at the base of the beach access walkovers. It’s like seeing the first robin of the season.
