“It’s the 21st century, you have to change with the times.” Dressed in his pinstriped suit, he was the epitome of “corporate.”
“Like I always say, ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’.” I looked down at him over my glasses.
“You’re right, it’s not broke, but it’s not efficient.” Holding his newfangled electronic notepad, he flipped through spreadsheets and flight schedules. “If you upgrade like I suggest, you’d be done in half the time.”
“I’m not fooling with tradition.” I held up a gloved hand, hoping to end the discussion.
“No one uses reindeer and a sleigh anymore.”
“Whatever…”

Like I said on Facebook, Santa don’t need no fixin. ;)
I love Christmas for being the traditional, impossible, wonder filled thing it is and Santa for never changing.
LOVE <3
Love this!!! I can just see this – with David Krumholtz as Santa’s Chief Elf – going all corporate and Santa resisting at every turn.
Good stuff, Tara, I can hear the sleigh bells already!
Well played, Tara, well played.
I loved reading this.
Love this! Of course Santa’s not going to mess with his time-proven traditions!

I wasn’t expecting Santa to go digital:) Nice post!
Bwah ha haaa! Yeah Santa, add a little power to that sleigh, got to make it better, faster, more efficient :)
