“I don’t like how he talks to her. Like he’s commanding a dog rather than speaking to his wife.”
The new engineer and his bride were the latest topic of gossip at the company picnic.
Ross schmoozed with bosses while Betsy lingered on the fringes, speaking only to Ross when he snapped his fingers for another burger or beer.

100 Word Song, is a writing challenge from Lance based on a weekly music prompt. The Challenge is to compose a story in exactly 100 words. This week’s challenge is inspired by Diana Krall’s, “Peel Me a Grape.”

Yes! So much fun! Proof that we often really have NO idea what goes on behind closed doors… :-)
Damn! I totally fell for the idea this was the other way around. Love it!
I fell for it. “Wait! It’s supposed to be the other way… oh, I see what you did there.”
Very nice.
hmmmmm – smiling here. great take (grape take?) on it, Tara. :)
Woah! Catch that ending! :) Great! (Just this short glimpse into hints of a world is better than the entire book “Shades of Grey”)
That didn’t go where I thought it would go. Haha, I loved it.
Not part of the challenge, but commenting anyway to say “Bravo!”

Great setup. Your word choices were perfect. *bowing*
Oh, nice!
And zING you defied the viewers’ expectations. Loved it.
ohh.. I like the twist at the end.
50 Shades of Grape? ;-)
That literally made me snort. Thanks for the laugh.
Yay! ;-)
ohhh, a little BDSM. Nice Tara :)
That was the first thing I thought of when I heard the song. And… I have NOT read the Fifty Shades trilogy.
