An apple a day

This one is rotten
Haiku Friday is hosted by Lou at LouCeeL.
My poor, little, 5-year-old Apple MacBook is slowly, and painfully dying. She was ill last winter and underwent some lengthy rehab, but this time, I think she not long for this world. It makes me sad, and more than a little panic-y.
I do have my daughter’s laptop, the one she had in high school. The one that has none of my photo files loaded, only a small handful of bookmarks, and no email access, that I can limp along on for the time being. The family computer, while boasting a lovely 27-inch monitor, is housed in a confining roll-top desk that does not fit well on my lap.
Due to more pressing details, like household bills, medical expenses, car repairs, and other ad nauseam accounts payable, getting a new toy isn’t something that will happen any time soon.
I know, first world problems…
