Surprises

I stayed close to home again this weekend, and visited a local bayside park and our local community college for my photo hike. These were my favorite shots of the day.

Sometimes, well more often than not, once I download my photos, I find surprises. Things like sun flares, or little creatures, or odd effects that look like I manipulated the image with photo editing.

‘Left standing’ was my odd photo this week. The wonky Depth of Field was pure chance, or more likely a mistake, but I liked it.

  1. It doesn’t seem to matter where you wander to take pics, you always find something amazing. I love ‘trailing up’.

  2. Curling is my favorite for many reasons, some of which you mentioned in the “wonky depth of field” it’s got movement in it! A close second is the rhythm of the bricks in your brick house shot. I like rhythm in things that I shoot, and I enjoy it in others. Nice Tara, have a great Mother’s day!

  3. Lots of variety in these. The leaf on the fence is interesting but yet gone unnoticed. “Left behind to dry” would be my caption for it.

So, tell me what you really think:
