Hopped around some for my photo hike this weekend, stopping at several locations. Drove out to Navarre and walked the fishing pier again. It was a little cloudy when the day started out, and the sky was amazing.
Took the long way home through Milton and then hit a few spots nearer to home. It was a cold day, hovering in the low 50s, but you couldn’t tell from how blue and bright the skies were.

I need to start checking airfare to Florida.
The blues in these are so beautiful. You’re right. It’s hard to tell it was a cool day. Those skies look so warm and inviting.
I really love the fishing pier and the pelican. Gorgeous shots.
It does look beautiful. I am from WI so I would take low 50′s any day!!
I could swim in the blues of those skies.
I love the pelican!!!!
That first picture is gorgeous! I need to make my way to the coast.
Lovely photos! Amazingly capturing!
I am dying to be there now. It looks so warm and cozy and I can feel the sunshine on my face & the sand in my toes. Ahhhhh.
I am in awe! You have a true talent! Those photos are so amazing! It makes me wish I was there…especially the water ones! Thank you so much for sharing!
Oh, your shots are pro!
I wish it was warmer here but it’s better than at home where we have a LOT of snow and cold…
I love the color of picture three (although all the photos are, as usual, fabulous). The sky is so gorgeous!
You always make me miss Florida with these shots :(
So lovely! That azure sky shot makes me want to jump right in. :)
I’m wondering how cold “colder than it looks” really is.
I could show pictures of our SNOW and say “warmer than it looks” – - – ’cause for here for this time of year, it’s pretty warm at 28 degrees!
The first and lost shots are my favorites of the week. That first one just… how massive this world. And it goes on forever! And the lizard just… awww!!
nice zoom on Larry lizard. Do you name them?
i love the lizard!
What great photos! They are some of the best I seen in a long time. Thanks for sharing.
If you said this was a hot summer day everyone would believe you. Shows how misleading the sky can be.

colorful and cool
What amazing colors, Tara! Love the pelican.
You have no idea how much I love the brown pelican. Glad the state bird of Louisiana is making a comeback.
I have been to Navarre beach many times, have family in Josephine, Alabama. These are great shots. Happy Sunday!
Oh my GOD, sky that color? Water that color? They are not entitled to ever become chilly.
Other than cropping, the sky shots were not edited, but were Straight from Camera. They really were that color naturally.
