Living on the Florida Gulf Coast has its own perks. One being that on Christmas Eve it’s perfectly normal to go to the beach, especially when it’s such a beautiful day.
Yes, the sand really is that white; and yes, the sky really is that blue. The temps were in the high 50s, a little breezy, and I had the beach almost entirely to myself.
These photos were taken at Gulf Islands National Seashore near Navarre, FL.
I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season…

You’re so lucky to be so near the beach. It looks so inviting there.
Beautiful Christmas Eve at the beach.
Christmas in California is very much like these photo, but maybe colder. Here in the Bay Area we had a bit of frost on the ground and the day was clear, crisp and gorgeous. I enjoyed your photos – thanks!
That first shot… Love them all, but that first one is without a doubt my favorite.
Merry Christmas!
The ripples and waves is breathtaking…but all the photos are gorgeous as usual, Tara. And of course I love the quote about Santa! Merry Christmas!
I like the look of sand better than snow.
Just wow. I want to go to there.
Merry Christmas from Charleston! We’re heading to the beach tomorrow for a little post-Christmas walk!
