I spent Saturday morning wandering around Eden Gardens State Park at Washington Point in Santa Rosa Beach, FL.
Wesley House, the 110-year-old estate, is still impeccably maintained and features a reflecting pool, majestic oaks draped in Spanish moss, and in the spring, a garden with hundreds of azaleas, roses and camellia in bloom.

(Photos shot with a Nikon D60, using an 18-55mm, 55-200mm, 20mm f/2.8 wide-angle, 50mm f/1.8 prime lens, Nikon CoolPix S205 and/or iPhone4)

Whoa!! I need to come visit! ;)
Gorgeous! That first shot is like a painting… it needs to be blown up and put on a wall!
I just sent my friend a link to this post and told her that we needed to make a road trip here. Your photos always inspire me. Thank you!
Gorgeous pictures. I especially love the home with the oak trees.
Tara, you see the world with such beautiful lenses. I’ve missed you :).
Oh, wow! That first shot takes my breath away.
Stunning. Reminds me a little of where my son lives in Charleston (minus the mansion).
I wish I had a gig involving Spanish Moss. These are gorgeous, chica! :)
What a picturesque place. Thanks for the tour.

I love pictures of docks.
I wish I could sit on that bench and dream the day away.
What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Oh! How I love Florida. GREAT PHOTOS!!!!!
So beautiful — Eden is an appropriate label.
Happy Sunday!

Gorgeous place….okay I need to go to Florida now!! Have a wonderful Sunday!
The first image is so incredibly stunning! I love the sway of the trees in the shot! The pelicans are a very cool shot. I love it.
Wonderful shots. I really like the bench.
There is a similar place on the east coast of Florida (Washington Oaks State Park in Palm Coast). There is something about the serenity of those places that really soothes. They speak of such a different Florida than the one we know today.
I really love this place! I’ll have to look up where in Florida it is and go visit. Thanks!
Stunning sceneries, what a beautiful world we live in.
Thank you for taking me on a trip to Florida :)
