Summer is winding down. Crowds are thinning out, temps are beginning to drop (even if only a little) and schools are about to start again. I am ready for fall.
This weekend I went cruisin’ to Navarre Beach to walk out on the fishing pier, and to DeFuniak Springs where I met a new mother, and her babies.

You can take the girl out of Florida but you can’t take Florida out of the girl. I love those pictures. As much as I visit, I can never get enough of the beach. And as a little girl, I lived on a lake and saw many a mommy duck with her fluffy babies trailing behind her.
It’s happening here too – autumn is here…soon, very soon.
On Sat it was hot and sunny and grey today.
Need an umbrella when going shopping later today…

The cities sign is really cute and colorful!! I love the shot out onto the water, though…where the telescope is out of focus. Ive gone back to that one several times…love it.

Your photo blog post today left a lump in my throat. I grew up near the Gulf Coast. I miss it today, especially after viewing these wonderful beach shots.
