Her list of cryptic directions crumpled in his pocket, he followed her ribbon trail into the cornfield, weaving among the stalks. As the satin slipped through his fingers, he realized it was the same she used to piece together their marriage quilt.
Dread filled him as he imagined her recent distractions as more than typical bridal jitters.
He dropped to his knees at the edge of the clearing.
There she lay atop their quilt. Her ecclesiastic skin bathed in moonlight, wearing only a smile.
Still on his knees, he crawled into her embrace as she helped tug off his shirt.

*When my husband and I were first married, we lived in a small rural town in Middle Tennessee. Our home was surrounded by 20 acres of farm land that we leased to a local feed farmer. He had it all planted in corn… that is all I’m going to say about that…
Beautiful, I love that she dropped him to his knees!
Great job.
That is so sexy. Love it
RAWR! This is hot! ;)
And that photo is stunning. I think I should frame that. *hint*

and that’s all I’m going to say about that. bwahahahaha. Good for you! We have to keep SOME secrets.
Great piece. Loved the leading by the ribbon.
This was terrific Tara…I thought it was going somewhere else too….but I loved it. I guess that’s not one of YOUR photos, huh? It’s beautiful anyway.
Tara R.: The photo is one of mine. I took it while on a road trip with my son. He was driving at the time and I took it while traveling up I-75 near Knoxville, TN. The moon could be seen through the trees lining the highway. That’s how the image turned out. I only cropped it.
Love it…wasn’t where I thought it was gonna go…thank goodness!!
I don’t want to know more. Thanks ;)
Love this one – though of course I at first thought it was one of your photos. Gorgeous photo and words to accompany it!
Tara R.: Yep, it is one of my photos.
Oh jeez, man, I really thought you were going somewhere else with this. Whew!
Great storytelling! I like the detail about the ribbon material.
Loved it!
