Bubble gum and albino squirrels

A sort of lazy week, I spent very little time outdoors and didn’t get my camera out much. Some of these shots were taken at the Tallahassee Museum of History and Natural Science during a trip to the city to visit my daughter. The others were from a short drive around my home town.

I did take a lot of photos of the wonderfully fragrant blooms I encounter on my daily morning walks. You can see those here: Aroma Therapy

(Photos shot with a Nikon D60, using an 18-55mm, 55-200mm, 20mm f/2.8 wide-angle, 50mm f/1.8 prime lens and/or a Nikon CoolPix S205)

  1. Those are gorgeous! I love it – especially the animals. I always am amazed when people can capture them like that – it looks so close and so clear. I think I’m just loud and scare them away :s You did a great job!

  2. Love the colors in the Double Bubble wrapper shot!

Earlier this week, I came home and found a squirrel asleep in a sunny spot on my welcome mat. It was cute as heck. Your photo reminded of that. :P

So, tell me what you really think:
